Ecosystem Boundaries Are Not Clearly Defined
Some ecosystems have well- defined boundaries and others do not. A cave is an example of a well- defined ecosystem. It contains indentifiable biotic components and distinctive abiotic components. A forest or desert are examples of ecosystems that are not well- defined. The temperatures and amounts of rainfall vary.
Ecosystem-A particular location on Earth with interacting biotic and abiotic components.
Biosphere- The region of our planet where life resides, the combination of all ecosystems on Earth.
