Weathering brings phosphorus to terrestrial and aquatic habitats. It is held tightly by soil. Phosphorus is a limiting nutrient in many aquatic systems.Small inputs greatly increase growth of producers. Algal Bloom- Rapid increase in the algal population of a waterway.
